Aloha Aquatics Association Families!

 

You are all invited to the Oahu Interscholastic Association Swimming & Diving Championships!   This Friday competition will take place at vmac starting with the 200 Girls and Boys Medley Relays and then working through the full events line up.   200 Med Relay / 200 Free / 200 Medley / 50 Free / 30 break / 100 Fly / 100 Free / 500 Free / 200 Free Relay / 100 Back / 100 Breast / 400 Free Relay.   Friday will be preliminaries 269 athletes will compete to hopefully qualify for the finals on Saturday!  Finals consist of the top 12 in the league.  1-6 A Final, 7-12 B Final.   The team that scores the most points will be crowned Top Public Swimming team on Oahu!  

Friday Prelims begin at 3:15 and will go to 6:48pm

Saturday Diving competition begins at 10am / Swimming Finals at 2pm and will conclude by 4:55pm.

*No fees for admission and the spectators section is the middle bleachers

Notes:  Many ex aloha swimmers are also competing as well as swimmers from pretty much every club on the island.   Coach Bramer's team Mililani Has won the Girls and Boys OIA Championships back to back in 2022 and 2023 and is seeking a 3 peat this year fingers crossed.   Mililani has won the OIA Championship 15 times with it's girls team since the league added swimming in the 70s, and 16 times with it's boys team.  

 

Fun Fact these athletes competing for their high schools times also count for Aloha Club Times :)
